Frequently Asked Questions

CROP Juice is all about educating our guests about balance and nutrition. We are about making a lifestyle change to better yourself long term. If you have specific questions about any of our products or processes, please feel free to reach out to our amazing crew members or give us a shout through our Contact Form on the website or on Facebook or Instagram!

Why Cold Pressed Juice?

The main advantage of juicing is that you can consume more ounces of nutrition by drinking your veggies than you can by eating them. Only 1 out of 7 people consume the recommended five daily servings of fruits and vegetables. Cold pressed juice is never subjected to any type of heat and minimal pressure so all nutrients and enzymes remain intact for you to consume!

What is HPP?

HPP or High Pressure Pasteurization is a process used to preserve products and make them shelf stable for up to 45 days. In order to use this process, products must be packaged in plastic to withstand the high pressure in order to preserve it. During this process the product also increases in temperature which kills all of the living nutrients you would have been consuming. CROP does not use this process because we believe in providing the most nutrient dense products we can. We will always package in glass bottles and have fresh pressed juice available to our guests daily!

Why do you focus on leafy greens?

Leafy greens are where it's at! Nutrient density at it's finest. We juice all of our greens separate from our fruit in order to ensure you are getting the most nutrients and the most bang for your buck!

How can switching to a plant based diet help me?

Plant based diets have been shown to decrease sugar cravings, fight inflammation and disease, and create the energy most people need to get through a busy day.

Why is CROP more expensive than other juice bars?

We are a company that is 100%  gluten free and vegan so right out of the gate CROP is more of an investment. If we didn't charge what we charge, we would not be able to sustain our model. In regards to juicing, our process is unique, labor intensive and more costly but we believe it creates the best tasting, most nutrient dense, raw juice, packaged in glass(we do not HPP or preserve our juice).

We juice our leafy greens separately and then hand pour a specific amount into each bottle before any other ingredient is added. To you, the customer, it means that you know exactly how many leafy greens are in a bottle. Why does that matter? Leafy greens are the most nutrient dense veggie that most of us do not consume enough of but are also the most costly to juice due to minimal yield compared to water dense veggies like cucumber, celery, apple.

In the world of juicing, companies typically juice in "big batches" and although the juice is "green" it typically contains the more water dense veggies like cucumber, celery, apple with only a splash of leafy greens so companies can charge less. At CROP, we strive to put the very best processes, ingredients and quality into what we do...unfortunately it does come with a higher price point.
